In Botworld Adventures, no status disrupts opponents as effectively as 'Hacked.' For those unfamiliar, the Hacked status turns the target bot against its team for a set period. Depending on its source (either through Bot ability or Botpack Power), the strength of the hacked bot can be amplified, causing it to inflict even more devastating damage.
Currently, the only Bot that can learn this ability is Virus. If you're early in your playthrough and don't have this Epic rarity creature, here's a step-by-step guide on getting Virus in Botworld Adventures. Now, let's dive into how to set up the ultimate field control strategy to grind coins and dominate the Solo League.
Here are the bots you'll need to employ the field control strategy. You can make a few creative choices, but the core revolves around Virus and Tether. Here is the team I use:
Assembling this team requires the right boosters and botpack powers to lock down the field and corrupt opponents. Here's what you'll need.
To complement these boosters, consider running these botpack abilities. Note that all are Epic rarity or higher, so it may take some grinding to unlock them.
This combination of abilities will keep Virus hacking and ensure Tether restricts opponents.
This strategy involves deploying Tether first to immobilize opposing Bots with its 'Hug' abilities. Depending on enemy positioning, spawn Flamer or Pupil. If bots are clustered, deploy Flamer to damage all within range.
If enemy bots are spread out, go with Pupil or another sniper. Virus will then assist with hacking. Use the Black Hole to trap enemies while Flamer burns them or Pupil snipes from a distance.
