Religions are often the central motivators behind many characters' decisions in fantasy stories. Here is a little about the religion from one of my favorite fantasy series of all time Game of Thrones.
The Father: Represents judgment and justice. He judges the souls of the dead and grants fairness in the world. Worshippers pray to the Father for wisdom and just decisions.
Symbol: Scales, symbolizing the weighing of right and wrong.
The Mother: Symbolizes nurturing, compassion, and mercy. She protects the innocent and is often prayed to for the health and safety of children and during childbirth.
Symbol: A mother's face or a cradle, representing care and protection.
The Warrior: Embodies strength and courage in battle. He is invoked by soldiers and knights for protection in combat and bravery to face their enemies.
Symbol: A sword, symbolizing martial prowess and valor.
The Maiden: Represents purity, innocence, and beauty. She is the patron of young women and is prayed to for protection of virtue and chastity.
Symbol: A flower or a young woman's face, symbolizing innocence and untainted beauty.
The Smith: Embodies creation and craftsmanship. He is the patron of all laborers, especially blacksmiths and craftsmen, and is prayed to for strength in work and the ability to create and repair.
Symbol: A hammer, representing the tools of labor and creation.
The Crone: Represents wisdom and foresight. She is depicted as an old woman carrying a lantern, symbolizing guidance and knowledge. People pray to the Crone for wisdom in decision-making and clarity in difficult situations.
Symbol: A lantern, representing light in darkness and the guiding of lost souls.
The Stranger: The most enigmatic of the Seven, representing death and the unknown. Unlike the other aspects, the Stranger is often feared and avoided rather than worshipped. However, some pray to the Stranger for acceptance of death or for deliverance from suffering.
Symbol: A faceless, shadowy figure, symbolizing the mysterious and the inevitable nature of death.
