Random Pokemon Generator

random pokemon team

My Pokemon random generator contains data for all 1,010 Pokemon, including Mega Evolutions, baby Pokemon and fully evolved ones.

Regional variants are present as well as the Paradox Pokemon introduced in Generation 9. Simply choose the number of Pokemon you want to generate and click the submit button.

I'll take it from there! Unlike other generators on the Internet, mine will give you a Showdown importable format for each Pokemon.

Once you have your team, continuing reading for some fun ideas on what to do with your fully randomized squad and a video of a battle I had with my fully random Pokemon team.

What can I do with the team?

Depending on your play style, you can choose 1, 3, or 6 Pokemon to battle with. To provide an additional challenge for yourself, try to use 6 randomly generated Pokemon in a double battle.

If battling is not your thing, there are still plenty of fun activities to do with access to the entirety of the Pokemon universe.

Start a Pokemon catching contest

Change the number of Pokemon you want to generate to 1. The first Pokemon that appears is the one that you and your friends have to try and capture.

The first one to catch the target Pokemon wins!

First to breed a perfect Pokemon

Similar to the catching contest, generate a single Pokemon. Once you have it, you and your friends have to breed a perfect (Perfect IVs and max EVs) version of the creature.

This one can be lengthy which makes it great to play on long road trips.

Play through the main storyline with Pokemon you generate

Instead of using the starter of the region you are playing in, use a team that is completely randomized. Depending on what you get, you could have a very easy playthrough or one that causes you to sprout grey hairs!

Draw the first Pokemon you see

If you're artistic and are looking for a challenge this is the activity for you. Some Pokemon are incredibly detailed and provide a nice challenge to draw.

As you can see, the possibilites are almost as numerous as the number of Pokemon in the National Dex. Have fun and be sure to share with your friends and family!
