As awesome as these tools are, there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to AI image generation. You'll need to structure your prompt properly to achieve the best image possible.

Tips and Tricks for AI Image Generator

Here are some tips and tricks that I've learned along the way to make the most of my AI generated images. All these tips are free and don't require a ton of technical knowledge to use.

Be mindful of the file size

By default, ChatGPT will generate a very large png file. These files are often in excess of 2MB. Uploading multiple large image files onto your page will result in sluggish load times, high bounce rates, and a garbage user experience.

Instead of accepting the default, simply ask ChatGPT to make your image a webp file. The difference in quality between png and webp won't be noticable by your visitors and your load times won't be as bad.

Pick the right aspect ratio

Finding the perfect aspect ratio for your site or project is vital to its overall aesthetic. The sweet spot for my sites is 1920 x 1080. I find that ratio suits my overall layout best and allows all the small details of my image to be enjoyed by my visitors.

Consider the Composition

Before generating an image, think about the composition and framing. Experiment with different angles and perspectives to create visually engaging scenes that capture the viewer's attention.
